Joyce Miller is a writer and performer born and raised in urban Philadelphia, PA. Her mother and father were both twins. She was accepted to the Pennsylvania Governor's School for both visual arts and acting and chose to attend for acting. She moved to New York to study theater at the age of seventeen at NYU, where she requested to be placed in the Atlantic Theater Company Studio after reading "True and False" and "A Practical Handbook for the Actor". She extended her focus to writing, video, and satire shortly after graduation. One of the most exciting things she has discovered about herself is that her great great grandfather was Amish. It's nice to have a back up plan. Her sexual orientation is the kind where everyone you date might be a spy hired by the Church of Scientology.
